Introduction to cadaver dissection in aesthetic gynecology: objectives and significance.
Cadaveric dissection of the external genital area offers a profound opportunity for anatomical exploration and understanding in the context of aesthetic gynecology. By meticulously dissecting cadaveric specimens, students gain insight into the intricate structure and relationship of the external genitalia, including the labia majora, labia minora, clitoris and perineum. This hands-on experience allows for a detailed examination of anatomical variations and pathological conditions, enhancing diagnostic skills and surgical proficiency in procedures such as labiamajoraplasty, labiaminoraplasty, clitoral hood reduction and perineoplasty. Through guided instruction and practical application, students develop a comprehensive understanding of the external genital area, laying the groundwork for compassionate and effective patient care in aesthetic gynecology and related fields.

Great blend of theory and practice. The course covered everything from patient consultation to post-procedure care. Instructors were approachable and generous with their knowledge. The only improvement I would suggest is more time for the hands-on component.

Finally a comprehensive, evidence-based program in aesthetic gynecology. The instructors brought together surgical expertise with aesthetic sensibility. The cadaver training was essential for understanding the delicate anatomy. I feel confident offering these procedures to my patients now.
