Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the services provided by the International Aesthetic Academic Institution (IAAI).

By accessing or using IAAI's website, enrolling in courses, or utilizing any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Student," or "You") and the International Aesthetic Academic Institution ("IAAI," "We," "Us," or "Our") governing your use of our website, courses, certifications, and all related services.

IAAI reserves the right to modify, update, or revise these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. If any changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or through our platform.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To use IAAI's services and enroll in our training programs, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Professional Qualification: For clinical and hands-on courses, you must hold a valid medical or healthcare professional license as required by your jurisdiction. Proof of qualification may be required at the time of enrollment or prior to course commencement.
  • Legal Capacity: You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law.
  • Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

3. Account Registration & Security

Creating an Account

  • You must create an account to access certain features of our platform, including course enrollment and certification.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must immediately notify IAAI of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
  • You may not share, transfer, or sell your account access to any third party.

Account Termination

IAAI reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at its sole discretion if:

  • You violate any provision of these Terms and Conditions.
  • You provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information.
  • You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities.
  • Your conduct is deemed harmful to other users, IAAI, or third parties.
  • You fail to meet payment obligations.

4. Course Enrollment & Payment

4.1 In-Person Training

  • A 20% deposit of the total course fee is required at the time of enrollment to secure your spot.
  • The remaining 80% balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the course start date.
  • Accepted payment methods: Bank Transfer, CCAvenue, and Stripe.
  • Accepted currencies: EUR, USD, GBP, and AED.
  • Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.

4.2 Online Live Training

  • 100% payment is required upfront at the time of enrollment.
  • Access to course materials and live sessions is granted instantly upon payment confirmation.
  • Accepted payment methods: Bank Transfer, CCAvenue, and Stripe.

4.3 E-Learning

  • 100% payment is required upfront at the time of enrollment.
  • Access to course content is granted instantly upon payment confirmation.
  • E-learning courses have a defined access period of 6 to 12 months depending on the specific course, after which access expires.
  • Accepted payment methods: Bank Transfer, CCAvenue, and Stripe.

4.4 Pricing & Fees

  • All prices are displayed in the applicable currency and are subject to change without prior notice.
  • IAAI may offer early bird discounts, group discounts, or promotional pricing at its discretion.
  • Additional fees may apply for certification exams, materials, or supplementary services.
  • Prices quoted at the time of enrollment will be honored for that specific enrollment.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

5.1 In-Person Training Cancellation

  • Cancellation 20 or more days before the course start date: 100% refund of the amount paid.
  • Cancellation fewer than 20 days before the course start date: No refund will be issued.
  • In-person courses require a minimum of 10 participants and a maximum of 20 participants. IAAI reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course if the minimum enrollment is not met.

5.2 Online Live Training Cancellation

  • Cancellation requests made before the course start date will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • No refund will be issued once the course has commenced or any live sessions have been attended.

5.3 E-Learning Cancellation

  • A full refund is available if the cancellation request is made within 14 days of purchase and less than 20% of the course content has been accessed.
  • No refund will be issued if more than 20% of the course content has been accessed or if the request is made after 14 days from the date of purchase.

5.4 IAAI-Initiated Cancellations

  • If IAAI cancels a course for any reason (e.g., instructor unavailability, insufficient enrollment, unforeseen circumstances), enrolled participants will receive a 100% refund of all fees paid.
  • IAAI is not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other ancillary costs incurred by participants due to course cancellation.

5.5 Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and must be submitted in writing.
  • Administrative processing fees may apply for rescheduling.
  • Rescheduling is permitted only once per enrollment.

5.6 Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 business days from the date of approval.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
  • Bank processing times may vary and are outside IAAI's control.

6. Course Participation Requirements

In-Person Training

  • Participants must maintain an attendance rate of 80% to 90% (depending on the specific course requirements) to be eligible for certification.
  • Participants must adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during hands-on sessions.
  • Professional conduct is expected at all times during in-person training sessions.

Online Live Training

  • Participants must have their camera turned on during all live sessions for engagement verification and attendance tracking purposes.
  • A stable internet connection and appropriate device are required for participation.
  • Participants are expected to actively engage in live discussions and Q&A sessions.

E-Learning

  • All course modules and assessments must be completed within the designated access period (6 to 12 months, depending on the course).
  • Extensions may be granted on a case-by-case basis, subject to additional fees.
  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they have adequate technical requirements to access the e-learning platform.

7. Certification & Credentials

Issuance

  • Certificates are issued upon successful completion of all course requirements, including attendance, assessments, and any applicable examinations.
  • Digital certificates will be made available through the IAAI platform. Physical certificates may be provided upon request, subject to additional fees.
  • All certificates include a unique verification number that can be validated through our online verification system.

Validity

  • Certificate validity periods vary by course and are specified in the course description.
  • Some certifications may require periodic renewal through continuing education or re-assessment.
  • IAAI reserves the right to revoke a certificate if it is found to have been obtained through fraudulent means.

Professional Responsibility

  • Holding an IAAI certificate does not replace or override local licensing requirements in your jurisdiction.
  • It is the participant's sole responsibility to ensure compliance with local regulations and professional standards when practicing any techniques learned through IAAI courses.
  • IAAI certifications are intended to supplement, not substitute, formal medical qualifications.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

Ownership

All content provided through IAAI's platform, including but not limited to course materials, videos, presentations, documents, images, logos, trademarks, and software, is the exclusive property of IAAI or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Permitted Use

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • View course content for personal educational purposes.
  • Download materials explicitly marked as downloadable for personal use.
  • Print materials for personal reference during your enrolled course period.

Prohibited Activities

You may not, without prior written consent from IAAI:

  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any course content.
  • Record, screen capture, or otherwise reproduce live sessions or video content.
  • Share login credentials or course access with unauthorized individuals.
  • Use any content for commercial purposes or to create derivative works.
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.

Unauthorized copying, distribution, or use of IAAI materials may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • IAAI's courses are intended for educational purposes only. The information and techniques presented in our training programs are meant to supplement, not replace, professional medical judgment and practice.
  • IAAI does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. All clinical decisions and patient treatments remain the sole responsibility of the treating healthcare professional.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, IAAI's total liability for any claims arising from or related to your use of our services shall not exceed the total course fees paid by you for the specific course giving rise to the claim.
  • IAAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
  • IAAI is not responsible for any adverse outcomes resulting from the application of techniques or knowledge gained through our courses.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the IAAI training center or service was accessed. For courses conducted in specific countries, local consumer protection laws may also apply.

Dispute Resolution Process

In the event of a dispute, the following resolution process shall apply:

  1. Informal Resolution: The parties shall first attempt to resolve the dispute through direct communication and good-faith negotiation.
  2. Mediation: If informal resolution fails, the parties agree to submit the dispute to non-binding mediation before a mutually agreed mediator.
  3. Arbitration: If mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration authority.
  4. Legal Proceedings: Either party retains the right to seek injunctive relief or other equitable remedies through the appropriate courts at any stage.

11. Changes to Terms

IAAI reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. When changes are made, we will notify you through one or more of the following methods:

  • Email notification sent to the email address associated with your account.
  • Website announcement posted on our Terms and Conditions page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
  • In-platform notification displayed within the IAAI learning platform upon your next login.

Your continued use of IAAI services following notification of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must discontinue use of our services.
